israel bound

i'm about to leave for israel for yossi vardi's kinnernet conference.  honestly, not sure what this conference is about. i've heard people compare it to foo camp but it sounds a bit more like an israeli TED. i'm psyched to get to participate and get back to israel after a 31 year absence. i'm also planning to visit jerusalem and study torah for a few days at a yeshiva.

let me know if anyone has tips on cool things to do and see.

NYC this week

hey blog friends, i'll be in nyc wednesday to sunday to participate in fred wilson's brainstorm day and catch up with friends, business and culture. will be meeting a bunch of friends for drinks on thursday night at gansevoort at 9:30pm/10ish...rooftop. drop by if you want to meet and talk new media, blogging or just drink.

Off to Wildflower Triathalon

my friends convinced me to try a tri. how could i pass up the 'burning man of triathalons'.  here's a link to wildflower for anyone who wants to tri next year.
